It's one thing to sit and have a cup of coffee, but its completely different being fully present. Feel the taste of every sip. These moments holds the entire Universe within. Let's center our focus today.

If you have ever snacked when you weren't hungry, have used guilt as a guide for your eating habits, or have cut calories even when you felt hungry, you have experienced "mindless" eating firsthand.

This mindless approach to food is dangerous and can have serious health and emotional consequences.

Weight concerns, obesity rates, and obsession with appearance to name a few.

Mindful eating is about developing awareness of your experiences, physical cues, and feelings about food..”

The foundation of mindful eating

-Eating slowly and without distraction

-Listening to physical hunger cues and eating only until you’re full

-Recognize true hunger and non-hunger triggers for eating

-Engaging your senses by noticing colors, smells, sounds, textures, and flavors

-Learning to cope with guilt and anxiety about food

-Eat to maintain overall health and well-being

-Noticing the effects food has on your feelings and figure

-Have Gratitude for your food
